In the worldwide community, since the start of the HIV/AIDS epidemic:
. 70 million people have been infected with HIV/AIDS,
. More than 35 million people have died from HIV/AIDS.
. In 2015, 39.8 million continue to live with HIV/AIDS.
. Today, 18 million have access to life-saving AIDS treatment - 1.2 million more than last year.
In the MFAP community:
. 32 years ago Mid Fairfield AIDS Project had nine clients, a $60,000 budget and one employee.
. Today we serve more than 300 people.
. Today we house 44 individuals & their families.
. Today we have eight employees and operate a 10 bedroom transitional housing facility.
