HIV/AIDS Drug Assistance Program

WHAT IS CADAP?:  Connecticut Department of Public Health program designed to help eligible low-income residents with essential medications for the treatment of HIV, related conditions, and other co-morbidities, as well as health insurance premium assistance.

COST: No fee

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?:
– People with AIDS or HIV who have a net countable income at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level.
– People who have been diagnosed by a licensed physician as having AIDS, HIV+ symptomatic, and/or an HIV infection.
– Individuals applying for the program must not be a Medicaid (Husky A,B, or C) or Medicaid coverage for the Lowest-Income Population (Husky D) recipient. There is no asset restriction for CADAP.
